Thank you for inquiring about Doug Griffin, mobile disc jockey. To assist you in planning your event, we have provided some answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Q: How will you know what I want?
A: Prior to the event, or even before you decide to
hire me I will arrange a personal meeting with you. We will sit down and discuss
all aspects of your event including; demographics of the guests, requests,
tempo, and special announcements. I will do everything I can to make sure your
event is a success. My philosophy is that no one came to see the DJ, however your entertainment is key to the success of your event. My experience, personality and knowledge will make your event - one to remember.
Q: How much time do you need to
set up your equipment?
A: It usually takes 20-30 minutes to set up for an
event. You are never charged for set up or travel time. I arrive at least one
hour prior to the contracted time to begin setting up. Should you need me to set
up more than one hour prior to my contracted start time, a nominal hourly fee
could apply.
Q: What types of music do you play?
A: I have a large selection of music on CD from the
20's to today's hits. If you, or anyone in your group, has a favorite that you
think I might not have, please feel free to bring it along (CD or cassette only)
and I'll play it. I make every attempt to find all the songs you specifically
request through my network of contacts at numerous radio stations and music
stores.
Q: Do you play requests?
A: YES, YES, YES!!! That's the bottom line. I am here
to serve you, and to entertain you and your guests.
Q: What types of questions do I need to consider before our sit down meeting?
A: General age of guest, types of music desired (rap,
top 40, country, big band, etc.), types of music you don't want played, special
songs or announcements, contests or door prizes, how active you want the DJ?
(master of ceremonies, make a few announcements, just play music).
Q: I am ready to book you as my DJ, what’s next?
A: Let me get you a contract in the mail, sign it and return it with the deposit, and the date is yours. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible with your DJ selection, so I am certainly ready to meet in person to discuss details before the contract is signed. Call me today and I'll hold the date

adult contemporary KKIS/Concord, and "Doug EEE. Fresh" on the urban KSOL/San Francisco. Doug was also the DJ at E.J's lounge at the Santa
